The caption slider is different to the image galleries and much more powerful and versatile. The image galleries only ever display images although using a multitude of effects. The caption slider goes further and works by having a base background image to which other images, text, video, HTML are overlayed and slide in with effects.

We start by adding a slide. The slide has to contain a background image. We set the height of the caption slider. On each slide we add captions and we can place the captions wherever we choose on the slide. Captions can be text, images, HTML or video. Captions can be formatted and slide in effects applied.

There is no limit to the amount of slides or captions although normally we would usually setup up 3 - 7 captions per slide. A slide can be without a caption. Slides and captions can be run using dynamic page data already entered.

Any page can be assigned a caption slider we need to assign an image library as normal to a page and choose the caption slider.
