Managing Stock

If you wish to keep track of your stock using the eShop this can managed simply and effectively.

To activate the stock system visit the eShop Settings page and set the Stock System Active. Stock levels are added to each product / listing and stock levels are viewable on the view all listings page against each item.

Enter a value in Units for the Low Stock Warning for the customer and administration area. This is a global entry and is applied to all products. If Low Stock Warning is set to 0 no warning text will be displayed.

To add the stock level to the website add the Placeholder $stock$ to the layout.


You can edit the low stock level text displayed to the customer in the dictionary.

Note

If an item has been added to a basket yet the customer has not completed the order and subsequently the product goes out of stock. The product is automatically removed from their basket and a automated note is given to the customer which is stored on the order notes.
