To help promote listings add a send link to a friend option and apply to a listing.

This tutorial will show you how to do this. There are 2 methods.

Method 1 Use the Contact Form

Using the contact form we add the code below which sets up the required fields. View the tutorial on how to setup a contact form for a listing. On the contact button in Step 2 we will add instead of labelling "Contact for more info" we label the button "Email link to friend". On clicking this button a new page will open with the email to friend form fields.

Method 2

Add the code above to a layout. This option is not suitable for listings that are available for purchase as both forms cannot work together on the one page.
