In addition to the basic customer information we need to make an orf

In addition to the basic customer information we need to place an order such as contact details, billing and or delivery address we can add custom fields that we may require to fulfill an order. There are 6 different types of field we can add to an order. These fields will be editable on the new customer and edit customer pages plus viewable on all order pages. Up to 10 fields can be added.

Type of Field

Text Box - Customer can enter text on a single line. Examples of highlighted and mandatory field.
Text Area - Customer can enter text on a multiple lines.
Radio Selection - Customer can select a single value using radio buttons
Check Box - Customer can confirm yes / no to a question by means of a checkbox
Drop Down List - Customer can select a single value using a drop down list
Supplementary Product Selection - Customer can select supplementary products on the checkout page.
Store Delivery Times/Hours - Customer can select a time today for delivery

Key to icons used

Switch to require approval Custom Field Active and viewable to customer
Switch to require approval Custom field in-active and hidden to customer

Values
Values are dependant on the type of field selected. Please consult individual guides using the links above.

Required Fields

Click to set this field to mandatory and required to be completed by the customer to place order

Encrypt

Encrypt sensitive information.

Highlight
Highlight field title on page as this Highlighted Field Example

Unique to Each Order

If checked previous values entered by the customer will not automatically be entered. A new value will be required and saved.

Active

Set active to be viewable and editable by customer
