This layer is used for special FX but can be used to overlay text/html over any position on the page.

The positioning of the news ticker layer in order to be responsive is always set at 100% screen width. The vertical position on the canvas is used to render the y-axis vertical positiining on the website only.

There is no limit to amount of news ticker items that can be added.

Advanced Options

Click OR in the news ticker layer to access the advanced edit page.

Add Dynamic Data
The news ticker can be set to extract and show the data from existing pages that have been added to the system. Only blog / news type pages can be selected.

Render As Item Per Day
If this is selected in the Responsive Web Creator then we can automatically display a different news item for each day of the week. The system will automatically calculate the day and display the correct entry. Ensure you have 7 entries made for each day of the week.
Ideal for disaplying opening hours or a reminder for each day of the week.
